This interactive food pyramid introduces young children to healthy foods using kid-friendly language. Click on a section of the pyramid to reveal the various foods included in that group. Then click on individual food items to read about their nutritional value. This site includes many original graphics, and links to age-appropriate games and activities.

In 2011, the food pyramid was replaced with Choose My Plate. Learn more (here). Even so, this site offers a decent amount of information on general nutrition. Also, a few of the links under "Fun Things To Do" were not working at the time of this review.
