Create songs with specific vocabulary terms for students to use as a learning aid or produce songs that assist multilingual learners in learning English. App smash Suno with MagicSchool's Song Generator, reviewed here by asking MagicSchool to create a song using any topic and details, then copy the lyrics into Suno to turn the lyrics into any genre desired. The article "How to Take Cornell Notes" from TeachThought.com explains the process of using the Cornell note-taking method. The learner will divide a piece of paper into two columns, leaving room at the bottom of the page for a summary: a small column on the left for keywords or questions and a larger column on the right to add detailed information. Note-takers should use symbols and abbreviations to accelerate the note-taking process during a lecture, video, or reading. Cornell notes are helpful in studying because the learner can cover the right column and ask themselves questions such as, "Why is this material significant?" and "How can this be applied to the real world?"

Teaching note-taking skills using Cornell notes will help students study and process information throughout their school careers. Teachers can begin teaching the concept using paper and pencil, then start to translate the note-taking skill onto digital tools such as OneNote, reviewed here, and Google Docs, reviewed here. This note-taking method would also be helpful while using tools such as Nearpod, reviewed here, and playposit, reviewed here, which includes a section for note-taking in lessons.

In the Classroom

Students can be evaluated in four separate grade-level tests. You must create accounts and new sessions to save student work and have it graded. Individual codes are assigned to students allowing teachers and students to review performance and teachers to generate reports. Questions have been aligned to the Common Core standards.
