Digital Storytelling Series
Join TeachersFirst (OK2Ask) for our three-part series about Digital Storytelling. These hands-on sessions will be offered in October, January, and April. You may attend one, two, or all three workshops. Register now for Session 1: Introduction to Digital Storytelling. Don’t miss this journey through literacy with Gretchen Sting, digital storytelling aficionado and Jason Ohler, author of Digital Storytelling in the Classroom.
As a special bonus to kickoff our series, Jason Ohler will give one participant a copy of his book Digital Storytelling in the Classroom. Take a Poetic Flight with TeachersFirst’s Interactive Raven
One of the most popular resources on TeachersFirst during the month of October is our Interactive Raven. This simple presentation shares Poe’s classic poem with the ability to roll over words for definition and more.
The Explorers’ Graveyard
This engaging lesson (ideal for grades 3-6) combines some history (Explorers to America) with Halloween (creating tombstones). Find interactive tools to incorporate technology into your lesson. You can also explore our CurriConnect Booklist about Explorers. CurriConnects offers booklists for various reading levels.
