These activities are ready to go for for whole-class use on your projector/interactive whiteboard or for individual/partners on classroom computers, laptops, or lab.

The interactive activities require the Flash Player plug-in, version 8 or higher. You can download this plug-in for free. Be sure to UNCHECK the box that installs the Google Toolbar—it is not needed!

Landform Term Match-up:
This activity covers the landform terms below, as defined in Globetracker's Mission, and provides a score at the end. Have students use it for practice/review before giving a written test or take the "quiz" on screen, then raise a hand for you to record their scores. Student must know how to operate drop-down menus to choose their answers. Use the written version to correct your own quizzes.

Try a whole-class review game by forming teams and allowing them to take turns completing this and the other match-up activities on an interactive whiteboard. Compare team scores by percentage (use a calculator) or number wrong.

Major World Locations - save for the END of the Mission!

This activity covers thirty major locations around the world from Globetracker's Mission, as listed below. One page provides practice and prompts for review. A second page asks students to drag the place names into place on a map. Use it for practice/review before giving a written map test. Students should be able to roll over, click and drag objects with a mouse or on a whiteboard to use these activities.

Try a whole-class review game by forming teams and allowing them to take turns identifying the numbered locations on an interactive whiteboard. Score each team with one point per correct answer.
