In the Classroom

Share Storywriter with students during lessons on screenwriting to learn how to format work when writing plays. Ask students to use this site to create plays describing historic events - for example, the first moon landing, or as a creative writing project. Before starting the play, have students map out their ideas using a tool like Story Map, reviewed here. Share student's final work by recording their play and sharing with parents and others on a video sharing site like SchoolTube, reviewed here.
This resource requires PDF reader software like Adobe Acrobat.
