Add a description for your song that includes information such as the topic, type of music, and any specific words to include. Season one tells the story of the manhunt for John Wilkes Booth and takes listeners up to the trial of Mary Surratt. The final three bonus episodes tell the final story of John Wilkes Booth and contain adult themes and strong language.

As a culminating activity, extend learning by asking students to use the podcast as a model for researching and learning about other famous Americans. An Educator's Guide to Orange County provides many lesson plans and resources based upon Orange County's efforts to share information responsibly and work towards social justice. Although created with a focus on Orange County, many lessons are adaptable for use with students in any location. In contrast, other lesson plans can be used without adapting to local needs. Most lessons include a PDF containing lesson information and a slide presentation; others include graphic organizers and student handouts. The resource portion of the site consists of walking maps, links to local archives, and social media projects. Lesson plans include correlations to Common Core and Social Justice standards.

Choose "find papers" to ask a research question and receive results that include a summary and links to supporting facts. Select "Extract data from PDFs" to upload a document from your device, then select the document(s) to view a summary. The final tab allows you to search papers to find a list of concepts, such as solutions to damage to the rainforest from climate change. Free plans offer members 5,000 one-time credits. Elicit uses artificial intelligence (AI) as part of its information-gathering process; be sure to verify the results for accuracy.

Imagine automatically creating a video from a written description. That's a fantastic prospect, and it is now possible using the magic of Invideo AI. invideo AI turns your ideas into videos in just a few short minutes. After creating an account, select the link to make a video. In the chat space, describe in detail and provide instructions for completing the video using up to 3600 characters. After adding the description, choose the button to generate the video and wait for the magic to happen. Creating videos will take a few minutes. Once your video is generated, use the available tools to regenerate if changes are desired, or choose to export the video when ready. Download the video to your device in mp4 format and select from the available options for video quality. Share videos with students from your device, using the provided link, or export videos to YouTube, reviewed here. Free accounts offer ten minutes per week of video generation, 10 GB of storage, and four exports weekly with the invideo logo. As always, when using artificial intelligence (AI) tools, verify that all information is accurate before sharing it with students.

This helpful site supports learning about and using text sets in the classroom for all grades. Enroll in the free, self-paced course to learn about text set design and how to use text sets to build student knowledge and vocabulary in any subject. Visit the links at the top of the site to find downloadable text sets categorized by elementary, middle, and high school. Within each category, the text sets are then organized into grade levels. Download a planning guide with links to resources and activities for each text set offered. In addition, each set includes separate links to additional resources such as student work samples, KWL charts, and more. Remember to visit the Support for Struggling Readers section to access rubrics and ideas to teach text structure, language features, knowledge demands, and purpose/meaning.

EduEase automatically creates multiple-choice quizzes from any PDF document using artificial intelligence (AI). Begin by uploading your document or video and then wait for it to process. After processing, click on the document's title to open the quiz. Use options to add questions, delete, or edit content. Share your quiz in several ways, such as copying the share link, using the provided QR code, or exporting it to Moodle. EduEase records results as students post responses for use in analyzing student responses.

Use EduEase to create quizzes as a formative assessment to guide instruction quickly. For example, set-up a short quiz based on your end-of-unit assessment to determine your student's current understanding of the material, focus on content that needs to be learned, and differentiate instruction as needed. Share EduEase with students to review study materials and prepare for tests. EduEase currently only accepts PDF documents; use Tiny Wow, reviewed here to easily convert images, PowerPoints, Word documents, and more to PDF documents.

DesignCap provides a quick and easy infographic maker for you to use. No expertise in graphic design is necessary. First, create an account with Google, Facebook, or your email. Next, choose "Infographic" from the left menu. You can then choose the format of infographic you wish to create, such as Process, Timeline, Health, and several others. Once you have the format you want, choose "Customize." You can select a different font and size, upload images from your computer or their library, change the background, and more. When finished, save your infographic to work on or view later or download it to your computer.

Introduce DesignCap's infographic templates found on the left menu. Ask students to select one that appeals to them, and then create one as a class for a concept you just learned or as a review for a test. Show on your whiteboard or with a projector how to select a template or create your own, where to find the image library, and how to upload your own images. Once the class has saved the infographic, you can have them create infographics on their own to include in multimedia reports, as a book report, as a study aid for a test, or to show what they've learned from a unit of study. Anthony, Elizabeth Cady Stanton, and Ida B. Wells traveled tirelessly, enduring harassment and jail to demand the ballot for women. Countless women played indispensable roles in fueling and sustaining the Civil Rights movement of the 1950s and 1960s. Through her unshakable advocacy of nonviolent resistance, Diane Nash helped desegregate lunch counters and public spaces across the South.
