During a lesson on the media and potential biases, have students select this newspaper and another to study for such a thing. Using a venn digram, have students compare the audiences of both papers, as well as framing issues, coverage, and popularity by numbers. Use an online tool such as Interactive Two Circle Venn Diagram (reviewed here). This would be a great in class activity before a class discussion of the impact newspapers can have, before focusing on the effects of more popular mediums - such as television.
