Use Translator to greet "other language" speaking students and make them feel welcome in your classroom; encourage conversations between them and your class. Take advantage of Translator to widen your classroom's global viewpoint by sharing conversations with others around the world. Use this site in world language classrooms to have students copy their text to convert into the language being studied (or the reverse). Have students create presentations about other countries in the native language of the nation using a presentation tool like Canva, reviewed here. Take your presentations a step further to include multimedia. This site would be very handy in world language classes and when working with ESL/ELL students. Use this site as a learning station or center. Students could find their native language and play it for their peers, then interpret the sentence in English (Spanish, French, etc.). Include this site as a resource when students are preparing a project about another culture. If you have students in world language, world cultures, or even language arts classes who need enrichment - listen to languages and see if they can find one they would like to learn. Because LearnCube's free plan only allows for classrooms of six students, be creative in using this site for your whole class.
