1. Create a project that students will work for
  2. Have an essential question
  3. Give the project information
  4. Include some resources to get them started
  5. Create a playlist of content and activities that they need to learn in the unit
  6. Create challenges of hands on activities to use the content
  7. Provide additional playlists and challenges if needed
  8. Include formative and summative assessments that focus on the process

Content playlist includes anticipatory sets/initial information and feedback. It also includes notes and other reference materials, video sources, webquests, activities, discussions, etc. Many activities are used to track student progress through the materials and notes clarify material or act as a review. Hands-on challenges are used for active learning and to provide practice in using content and increasing student skills and communication of the content. Assessments track student progress in learning the content and achieving various skills.
