Session Description:
Encourage your students to become global citizens with the 10 tools (and many strategies) shared in this participatory session. We will define global citizenship, share 10+ tech tools to connect and collaborate, provide time to try out the tools, plus offer tips to build global citizens!
Purpose:
During this exploratory session, I will share ten (or more) tools for promoting global citizenship for students in grades K-12. With each tool, I will also offer tips on ways to use the tool to further foster global citizenship in your students. Participants will get to try some of the tools as we collaborate, discuss, and learn together.
Objectives:
- Participants will learn about various tech tools that can be used to develop global citizenship.
- Participants will deepen their own understanding of global citizenship.
- Participants will collaborate and discuss new strategies to promote global citizenship.
