In the Classroom
Have students role-play scenarios from the curriculum that require showing empathy and understanding. Create a weekly "Kindness Challenge" where students perform acts of kindness in the classroom or at home. Hold regular classroom circle discussions where students can share their thoughts or experiences based on SEL topics. Have students work together to create a class charter or set of norms for a positive learning environment, incorporating SEL principles such as respect, responsibility, and inclusivity. You must be registered and logged in to add items to your favorites.
