Staying current with the latest AI tools is time-consuming, and choosing appropriate tools becomes difficult when there are so many available options. TeacherServer is your hub for finding and using AI tools that save time and increase efficiency. Create a free account to begin using TeacherServer, then explore content by selecting from categories that include general resources, content area tools, and professional topics such as leadership and tools to use with parents. Each category contains dozens of tools, such as lesson plan generators, standards navigators, and assessment generators. After selecting a tool to describe grade level and objectives, fill in the form and add personalized instructions if desired. Copy the results, add them to a Word or Google document, or save them to your TeacherServer account. Save your favorite tools to find and access them easily from your account dashboard.

In addition, take advantage of the AI features to instantly create quizzes from a prompt or an uploaded PowerPoint or PDF document. Create a free account, then use the menu to locate how to create a new class. After making a class, follow the prompts to create a question by adding the number of answers and identifying the correct answer; choose none if conducting a poll or if only recording student participation. Save your question, then share it from your classroom folders. To respond, students create an account and access questions on their own devices using your classroom code. Your results are available in the Question Data section of the account dashboard.

Adjust the response by highlighting any output portion and asking for changes. Brisk is a Chrome extension that uses AI to convert the reading level of any webpage to a different grade level or language, creates quizzes and resources from YouTube videos and documents, and much more. Once converted to a chosen level, Brisk offers tools for creating quizzes, giving feedback, and detecting writing created with AI. Begin by clicking the link to download Brisk from the Chrome store for free, and install the extension to your device. Once installed, click the Brisk icon on your toolbar from any website, then select the grade level and language desired. Brisk opens a new Google Doc with the information requested. Use the Brisk icon from within this Google Doc to find options for additional tools for creating quizzes, giving feedback, and detecting AI. Brisk offers a tutorial video that provides instructions for new members.

Class Companion offers the power of AI (artificial intelligence) to provide assignments and feedback for written tasks. Import assignments using any of three methods - import a project from your device's documents using copy and paste, create a task from scratch, or use an assignment from Class Companion's library. Choose from the essay or short response format. Class Companion analyzes the text and allows teachers to customize options before assigning them to students; options include a selection of rubrics, questions about the piece, and the number of attempts students have to submit a correct response. Students access Class Companion by the provided link shared from your account. As students complete the activities, Class Companion provides feedback on their responses.

Twee offers a selection of artificial intelligence (AI) tools designed with English teachers in mind. Create a free account to access the many resources that work with video, interact with text, develop vocabulary, provide grammar practice, and more. Twee's video tools work with YouTube reviewed here to create questions based on the video's content, create summaries of the video, and suggest warm-up questions for use before watching videos. Additional tools provide options to create various assessments, topics for discussion, and homework ideas. After selecting a tool, follow the prompts to make your activity. Some of Twee's tools offer the option to create text from an image, including turning a screenshot of a text page into text to use with the chosen resource. Copy the completed activities into any document to share with students or save as a PDF.

Diffit is a tool that helps teachers differentiate lessons using any text, article, or web page. To use Diffit, you need to create a free account. Then, select one of three options: Literally Anything, An Article (or URL), or Any Text or Excerpt. Then, choose the approximate reading level you want for the differentiated materials. After entering all the necessary information, click Generate Output. Diffit will produce an adaptive reading passage, a summary, key vocabulary words, multiple-choice and short-answer questions, and open-ended prompts. All of the generated content can be edited or added to. Use the dropdown box to adjust the reading level or language. Share the materials with students by copying them into a document, printing, or exporting them to Google Docs/Forms.

In the Classroom
Use Diffit to quickly adapt and differentiate text or content by reading level and language needs. Use Diffit to translate text into the native language of multilingual learners and generate comprehension questions. Differentiate text for special needs students or gifted students based on their ability. Engage students in the learning process by copying the questions generated by Diffit into an interactive quiz format resource such as Blooket, reviewed here. Extend learning by asking students to respond to the open-ended questions by sharing a video response using Flip, reviewed here. What if you could magically create rubrics, quizzes, and scaffold assignments? MagicSchool does it for you...and more! Create an account at MagicSchool to view the dozens of tools and generators available using AI (artificial intelligence). After selecting a tool, use the included options to define terms such as grade level, text levels, or topics for your needs. Many tools also have opportunities to refine the results, including translation to several languages and length of response. MagicSchool also offers Raina, an education chatbot. Use Raina to answer school-related questions such as teaching ideas, research on pedagogy, and behavior management strategies. MagicSchool's database is trained on best practices for educators, is FERPA compliant, and declines non-educational requests. When using AI generation tools, always check the results for accuracy before using them.

Study smarter using the power of Yippity's AI (artificial intelligence) tools that convert text or website links into quizzes. Begin by creating a free account using your email address or Google account. Next, paste your notes or a website URL into the provided link; language options include English, Spanish, and Italian. Click the arrow to generate a quiz created from the information given. When complete, Yippity provides a list of flashcards with questions and answers; select test mode to view questions without the responses. If desired, edit questions and answers to suit your needs. Share quizzes using the URL found in the share link. Free accounts offer members the option to create three quizzes monthly.
